Everyone knows how to make a gin and tonic (yes, it really is a cocktail), but for many, that's the limit of their cocktail-making repertoire.
If you know someone who'd love to find out how to make the perfect Cosmopolitan, which glass suits a Singapore Sling, or what makes a Dark and Stormy so, well, dark and stormy, the Ultimate Bar Book by Mittie Hellmich is the perfect gift — or the perfect companion to one of our cocktail making sets.
Organised by name and by ingredient, this isn't just a standard recipe book. It covers tips and techniques, glassware and equipment, garnishes and infusions, and more, across 476 pages and over 1,000 recipes. There's a section on virgin cocktails and hangover cures too, for the morning after.
What you'll find inside:
- Over 1,000 recipes
- Educational sections on technique
- Full glassware and equipment guide
- Organised by both name and ingredient — two indexes
- 476 pages, hardback
